Maybe This Week...

Well friends, it has taken me a few days to post, because there have been a lot of emotions experienced this week. First of all, on Thursday, I started seeing families posting that they had received their SCL, and I knew that some of these families got their PA after I got mine. I emailed Rebecca, at CHI, and she did say that for some reason, the CCAA had gone out of order, and apparently I got skipped (this is just my luck!). Rebecca didn't seem to be worried, but I am!!! I want to travel with my friends, but as of Friday, there are 16 families in the June travel group, and I am really concerned that I will most likely not be in that group. This group has tentative travel dates of June 4th - June 18th. Will you all pray that I get my letter this week, and can somehow get in this June group? I have been so patient for three years, and it seems like now it is taking forever to bring my baby home! But, I am determined to have happy thoughts this week that my SCL will arrive.

Congratulations to my cousin Jill and her husband Ben, they are the proud parents to a beautiful baby girl. Kennedy Ava was born on Saturday, and both Mom and baby are doing great! I haven't gotten to see her, yet, because I have this scratchy throat going on, and I don't want the little munchkin to catch a bug from me, but I will see her, soon.

I certainly hope that my next post will be to inform all of you that my SCL has arrived, and I am one step closer to bringing my sweet girl home!
