Mid-March Update

Before my friends yell, I know it's been a while since my last update, but there has been so much going on. The past couple weeks have been quite sad, in that there have been a couple deaths in my hometown. My friends, the Renfros, lost their Dad, Joe, last week. I can't even imagine what Paula, Cheryl & Christen are going through, but my heart and prayers are with you all.

Next, my first term of the Spring semester is over (thank you, Lord!), and I got an "A" and a "B"(my first B, but I'm not complaining). I am now into the second term, and all is well! We are on Springbreak this week, so it has been so nice to be able to go home in the evenings at a decent hour.

We celebrated Juliann's, my niece, 8th birthday on March 8th - I can't believe my baby girl is so big, where has the time gone! I will post some pics from the b-day party, so you all can see her b-day gift from her Mom and Dad.

Lastly, on the adooption front, I applied for an 11 month old's file last Friday, but another agency had locked her file before CHI got to it, but it's ok, the most important thing to remember is that this sweet little girl has a family, now. The next WC list should be out possibly next week sometime, so we will see if I get matched this next go around. In my heart, I know that this will be the year that I bring Mia home.
