Busy Mom

What a week this has been! I never knew that being a Mom was so much work, and Mia isn't even home, yet!! Geez! First of all, I pre-registered by sweet baby for school on Thursday - this was a bitter sweet moment, it was my first real Mom moment. I am very blessed to have so many friends in my hometown, and while I was at the school, so many came to congratulate me on Mia's adoption. Everyone was so kind and interested in Mia and this whole process - there were lots of hugs going 'round.

Adoption News: I have been filling out paperwork for China, school, afterschool care all in the past week. CHI is working on getting my appointment with the US Consulate in Guangzhou, and once I receive my TA (Travel Arrangements) from China, then this appointment can be set. I received an email this morning asking me to verify all my information, and Mom & Dad's as well, since they are my traveling companions on this trip. I had to confirmed the hotel accomodations, along with all personal info. I am actually feeling that this may just happen after all!!

School News (my school): Only one more exam then it is "school vacation" for me until August - thank you, Lord! I must say that I am exhausted from school right now. I had planned on going through the summer, but I am glad that I have now decided to take the summer off. I really need the break!

I am really excited about my shower on Saturday! My sisters-in-law and aunts are throwing this party for Mia and me, so I know it will be great!! I can't wait to post some pics for all to see!!

So, that's about all I have to report for this week, everything seems to (finally) be coming together. With each day that passes, it brings me one more day closer to meeting my sweet Mia girl! Until next time, Peace and Grace to all!!
