Weekly Update January 2009

First of all, I am happy to announce we have a new baby in our family. Madelyn Taylor was born on Friday, January 23rd to my cousin Bethany, her husband Taylor and Big Sister Lillibeth. Miss Madelyn weighed a healthy 7 lbs 15 oz and is 19" long - both Mom and baby are doing GREAT!! Mom and I went to visit the newest addition this afternoon, and I have to say SHE IS A BEAUTY!! Secondly, Chinese New Year starts on Monday and lasts all week. My weekly update from CHI states that their Beijing office will be closed all next week, but will be in touch with the CCAA, regarding CHI's status with the Waiting Child list, as soon as everyone is back from the holiday. Please continue to pray that CHI will receive the next Waiting Child list in mid-February. On another note, please continue to remember all those who have been affected by the loss of jobs during these troubling economic times. Those of us who continue to have stable jobs are blessed more than we deserve. Until next time...Peace and Grace to you all!
