Times sure does fly when you're having fun! I can't believe that two years ago today, I became a Mom to the sweetest, most precious, funny, loving child anyone could hope for. My Mia has been the greatest gift and blessing that I have ever received. I had no idea what the future would hold for me and this sad little girl, but WOW has it been fabulous. Mia - you are everything that a mother could ask for in a daughter and more. You have given me more joy than I ever knew possible. Happy Gotcha Day my sweet angel!! I love you more than anything in this whole wide world!!

Some catching up...

First of all, I know that I am a BAD blogger!!! So, since that is out of the way, we can continue. I can hardly believe that my baby has grown so much. She is in kindergarten, and learning something new every day. It's hard to believe that we are coming up on two years since I saw her sweet face for the first time...time sure does fly when you're having fun.

As for dear old Mom here, I will be student teaching in August...Praise the Lord!!! It seems like a lifetime ago that I took the plunge and decided to go back to school, but it has been a fantastic experience. I can hardly wait to begin teaching full-time, so that Mia can go to school with me every day. i feel so guilty having to leave her every day, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end.

One of my goals for the new year IS to be a better blogger!! It will be a busy year for me as I finish school, and start my next phase of life, but I am going to try my best to blog more!! Maybe this blog will turn in to more than just aboutMia and me, 'cause as you can see, we aren't the most exciting people around...ha!!

I know that it has been sooo long since I have posted, but life in our little home is always busy, busy!! We have had a fabulous summer, and can hardly believe that school has started full time for Mia today. I can't believe that my baby is in kindergarten! Momma starts back to school next week, and THIS IS MY LAST YEAR!!! Thank you, Lord! I am amzed at how far we have come in the last year, and I can hardly wait to see what this school year holds! One Year Ago Today...

I received the most precious gift of my life - my Mia! I never knew true happiness until that day. We have had an amazing year, and it is going by way too fast. Thank you, God for blessing me with this precious, beautiful angel. I am beyond proud to be her Mom. I love you my sweet angel!

Exactly one year ago, today, I became a Mom! One year ago today, I received a referral for the most precious little four year old you have ever seen - Guang Hai Qiong. As I think back to this day last year, I remember how nervous I was the entire day. You see, I waited all day for my agency to lock Guang Hai Qiong's file. I tried to be calm and cool, but I was dying inside waiting for the doctor to review her file and give me the thumbs up that all was ok. I can hardly believe that it was a whole year ago. I thank God every day for this little angel he gave me, and yet "thank you" seems so inadequate. This little child has given me more joy than I ever knew was possible. I love you my sweet angel!
